Fits 2015+ MK7/7.5 GTI & Golf R.
Lightweight all-aluminum construction.
3 styles to choose from (all mount the same).
Finish options;
ISTSB (Industrial Strength Texture Satin black). This durable powder finish can withstand harsh elements and cleaning chemicals. Our ISTSB finish is also easier to clean than most other standard powder coated finishes.
RAW- Unfinished (for folks that wish to coat themselves). Comes un-finished (silver) and straight out of the CNC machine. light scratches expected. These are not meant to be installed RAW.
Stainless Steel hardware included.
3M tape is NOT included.
Installs via bolts, lock washers and industry strength well-nuts*
Drilling is required.
OEM spoiler does NOT have to be removed, which is a huge benefit over others.
*If you prefer to remove the OEM spoiler and attach the spoiler extension using standard nuts and bolts (instead of well-nuts) email us and we will make it happen.
** 12 month Replacement Warranty: We are so confident in the design of our MK7 spoiler extensions, if the spoiler extension is damaged, we will replace the spoiler and hardware at no cost to the client (One replacement per customer), all you do is pay for shipping. You can’t get better than that!

What material do you use? 5052 high grade Aluminum.
Do I have to remove the OEM spoiler? No, these are installed using well-nuts and 3M tape. For more info on what well-nuts are, here’s a third-party demo CLICK HERE
What is Industrial Strength Textured Finish? Our Satin Black Texture finish option is very strong powder coat finish that can handle the harsh environments as well as cleaning chemicals. Textured finish is also scratch resistant, and easy to clean/wipe.
Have these been tested? Yes, prototypes were tested for 6 months prior to release with ZERO issues or concerns. These are also backed by a damage protection plan.
How often should I check the spoiler? Just like any aftermarket setup, spoiler should be checked once a month or whenever you wash your car. It’s a simple 10 second test to make sure its still nice and tight.
Why do you need Loctite (thread-locker)? Well-nut+bolt setup works just like a nut+bolt setup, if you don’t apply a thread-locker you risk having the bolt back-out overtime due to vibration. With the added inner lock washers (included in the hardware) for additional support, the bolts will stay in place.
What testing have you done on well-nuts? While these rivnut alternatives are new to some folks, we have been using well-nuts for 5+ years on various applications.
Can I take this through a car wash? Any car with aftermarket parts should avoid drive-thru washes like the plague. Washes have been known to rip wipers, antennas, OEM body panels clean off. ATTEMPT AT YOUR OWN RISK. Vega is not liable for washes destroying your parts.
Why do some companies charge more for plastic spoilers? You’re guess is as good as ours.
What color is RAW? Raw is unpainted aluminum, so silver. This option is available for clients that wish to coat, or wrap themselves. These are not meant to be installed unfinished. Aluminum will NOT rust, but it will oxidize if left RAW.
